It's been a weird spring and right now there are kings near shore!
The weather however has not been so great with all the East winds makeing big waves for kayaking.
Browns are still in the harbor, but with the water all churned up it's been a lot tougher bite. I'm looking forward to some calm days.
Well we are nearing the end of our not so bad winter and Canoecopia held March 9-11, 2012 at
the Allient Energy center in Madison Wisconsin is almost here.

This year I will be doing a presentation on Salmon Kayak Fishing Lake Michigan
Sunday at 10:30am-11:20am.
I will be covering safety, rigging, tackle & equipment, and explain the fishing "seasons" and conditions to look for.
If you like canoe's and kayaks and haven't been to the Canoecopia before, go. You will not be disappointed. Hope to see you there.

Thanks to everyone that stopped by to say hi. It was a very busy, but fun event. I realy enjoyed doing the seminar. There were a lot of good questions and I hope everyone was able to come away with a little more knowledge on salmon fishing.
Had a good morning out fishing for coho salmon a couple hours before work.

This a great tournament to fish if you love to catch salmon from a kayak like I do.
Fished with my father and a few friends on May 29th. Fishing was a bit slow, my dad landed two coho and I caught 2coho and one small king.
